A Few Days Off

I have a few days off on in a row, so I've been catching up and doing some random things. I have been tidying up around my apartment because my mom is coming to my apartment tomorrow and I have finally had some time to get things done. I finally have most of my stuff put away in the spot where I want them. I only a few decorating things left to do, but that will take some time. I have gotten some great ideas about storage, so I will be going to IKEA once I have some money to spend. I'm opting on spending a little more money in order to have a piece I can carry with me for some time. So, my apartment is fitting into place!

Yesterday was a very exciting day. I went to visit my cousin, Meg, and my Aunt Kathy. I met with Meg at her place in Indian Land and went to the mall with her and her two boys, Morgan and Nate. Morgan is just over a year old and a very sweet little boy. Though, apparently I was good enough to receive two "baby blessings," aka spit up, while we were out the mall. This smelt like cottage cheese. So, I got to spend half the day smelling like cottage cheese. Meg was VERY sweet and bought me a new outfit (Thank you so so much!)  so that I would not go to dinner with her mother smelling like the baby blessing. Nate got a new Build-A-Bear, which became Darth Vader. He is a very cute little boy. And I mean little. He is 6, and soon his younger brother will out grow him. After this lovely adventure and a very nice visit with Meg, I drove to Tega Cay to see Aunt Kathy and Uncle Charles. These two treated to me a lovely dinner at a local place called Steve's. It was very good food, the flounder was wonderful. (Thank you both for the meal!) After this we went to a new park on the river. It's a nice little trail that winds around next to a river and it was nice outside, a little muggy, but that was fine. It was nice to walk off some of the food. The conversation was great, as I am not used to always having someone to talk to and visiting with family is amazing. After this it was time for me to leave, so we headed back to their house and I headed home. The visit with all of them was amazing, and I was yet again reminded about the amazing family I have. One the way home, I was so tired I missed the exit which makes the trip shorter because I was so tired, but I got home okay.

So now on to other things in my life... I have decided to get rid of my adorable kitten, Peter, due to the fact that he has been driving my allergies crazy. I do not like have itchy eyes and a scratchy throat. He is very loving, sometimes too much so for myself. At the moment he is sitting on my shoulder, putting his tail in my face, making it very hard to be able to type. He loves to put his rear end near my face, something I am not too fond of. So, if you know anyone who would like a lovely kitten, please let me know.

The next few days will be busy but relaxing as I prepare for school and do some more visiting. If anyone has any idea on what I should be when I grow up, please let me know.

Let me also do a shout out to my brother-in-law, Steven. I just found out he receive a job offer, which he has taken, with the Lexington Police Department. I am very pleased to have found this out, though it took over a week to find out and it was from him, so congrats brother!
